Assistant Professor of Computer Science

The Alma College Mathematics and Computer Science Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2008.  Candidates should enjoy teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses and be committed to excellence in teaching.  Other responsibilities include active scholarship, supervising undergraduate research, and service to the campus community.  Teaching experience and Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field required.  Area of specialization open, but the ideal candidate would be able to contribute to interdisciplinary programs such as media and interactive computation, bioinformatics, or computational science.
