Assistant Professor of Biology

MOLECULAR BIOLOGY - The Alma College Biology Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2008.  A Ph.D. is required.  Seek individual with demonstrable skills in, and commitment to, undergraduate teaching and research.  Teaching responsibilities will include general genetics and labs, a non-major introductory biology course, seminar and an elective upper-level course attractive to pre-professionals.  Areas of specialty could include health-based genetics, histology, endocrinology or molecular pathology.  Interest in interdisciplinary applications particularly welcome.
