HVACR Mechanic
Duties
Performs skilled technical work, on a journeyman level, in the installation, operation, modification and service of all HVACR equipment on campus from a half to three hundred tons in capacity.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma, a two year associate's technical training certificate or completion of an apprenticeship program resulting in journeyman's status, and at least five years of progressively responsible experience. A valid MI motor vehicle operator's license is required as well as certification by the EPA for purchasing and handling all types of refrigerants.
Salary
The starting pay range is $16.50 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications.
