Physics Position

The Physics Department at Alma College invites applications for a non-tenure track position to begin January 2007, with possibility of renewal through 2007-08.  Applicants should be capable of teaching classes across the broad spectrum of undergraduate physics.  Specific needs are in the areas of algebra-based freshman-level physics primarily for life-sciences students, sophomore-level modern physics and junior-level dynamics for physics majors, and algebra and trigonometry-based astronomy for non-science students.

More than a third of all Alma students take part in at least one performance each year. The College offers majors in theatre, dance and music, but students of all majors may join in productions.
