Lab Coordinator - Exercise and Health Science

A 2/3 time position for nine months (August 22-May 25) in the Department of Exercise and Health Science.

Lab Coordinator responsibilities are: set up and attend laboratories on a weekly basis including Human Physiology I & II, Exercise Physiology, and Exercise Testing and Prescription; order supplies and equipment for department; repair and maintain departmental equipment; help with maintenance of department computers and assist with instructional technology.

Other responsibilities include: assisting in the athletic training room; coordinating and scheduling student workers in departmental programs; assisting with publications, budget, and some routine office tasks.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree is required, Masters preferred; computer expertise in Word, Excel and Pagemaker; experience/knowledge of repair and maintenance of laboratory equipment; a background in the health sciences/athletic training is preferred but not required; good interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills.
