Associate Director of Admissions

Alma College seeks applicants for the position of Associate Director Admissions. This position reports to the Director of Admissions and is responsible for the marketing, recruiting, and enrollment of international and transfer students. The Associate Director will have direct responsibility for the development and implementation of strategies to recruit and enroll international and transfer students.

Duties include: the development and implementation of a comprehensive international and transfer student recruitment plans, inquiry and application generation, file management, participation in on and off campus Admissions activities, international and domestic travel to recruit students and promote the College, and the development of new and expansion of existing relationships with community colleges and international institutions of higher education and agencies to increase inquiries, applications and enrollment from international and transfer students.

The successful candidate will have direct experience recruiting international students, transfer students or both. Strong oral, written, and computer skills and knowledge of international student regulations and SEVIS are required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
  3. Self-motivation.
  4. Previous experience in international and/or transfer student admissions.
