Mathematics - Assistant Professor
Tenure-track position to start Fall Term 2005. Teaching experience and Ph.D. required; specialization in Applied/Computational Mathematics or interdisciplinary applications preferred. Enthusiasm for undergraduate education is essential.
Candidates should enjoy teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses and be committed to excellence in teaching. Other responsibilities include active scholarship, supervising undergraduate research, and service to the campus community. Our faculty has a deep commitment to quality undergraduate liberal arts education, including student development in a residential setting, and interdisciplinary, intercultural, and international education. Full-time teaching load is 6 courses per year; salaries, benefits, and support for professional development are competitive.
