Campaign Participation Leader: Student Services
The challenge to find out which College sectors can reach 100
percent participation to the Campus Campaign is under way with several
groups seeing big gains in the overall percentage of people
contributing.
The clear leader from October to November was the Student Services
Office with an increase from 33 to 56 percent in just one month. Each
member of this area will receive a Kudos Bar from the Campaign Chairs
in recognition of this accomplishment.
The Open Windows Campaign has achieved 91.8 percent of its goal.
Each month the area that achieves the largest increase in participation
will receive a small prize and recognition in The Pinecone. All groups
achieving 100 percent participation by the end of the fiscal year, June
30, 2009 will receive the grand prize.
“Employee giving is an important indicator to outside donors that we
believe in the ‘product’ we put out, namely our students,” says Brandan
Snook, regional associate and director of community relations. “All
tax-deductible gifts made to the College, whether to the Alma Fund or
designated to a specific area, reflect our dedication to providing the
best opportunities and experiences possible to our students. That kind
of enthusiasm often helps inspire alumni and friends to make
significant contributions of their own. Please remember, your
participation is far more important than the size of your gift.”
