  • Supervises and sets the general direction for web application services
  • Administers and maintains the systems that make up web services
  • Develops and supports web applications in the portal and the website
  • Works with other campus sectors frequently to determine future needs for web services

  • Handles some day-to-day web/database administration

  • Maintains and develops services for Moodle, a Course Management System

  • Works closely with PR to ensure external Web presence positively reflects Alma College and fits with its overall marketing plan
  • Provides leadership in the use of emerging technologies, including audio and video, to enhance Alma College's Web presence
  • Works with all campus sectors to promote effective communication and the free flow of information via Web services and to assist in generating content for both internal and external Web sites

Many of Alma’s pre-law graduates go on to attend prestigious law schools, including 2004 graduate Jessica Karbowski, who was accepted at Yale, Stanford and Harvard law schools and is attending Yale. Colin McGlaughlin, a 20004 graduated enrolled at Case Western Reserve Law School, is the first American to intern at the International Criminal Court at The Hague in the Netherlands.

Terra’s Spring Term experience in China is a tremendous help understanding the relationship the U.S. has with one of its largest trading partners. The business administration major from Monroe has seen first hand the economic effects on southeast Michigan of low-cost imports and Chinese monetary policies.
