General Labs

General Labs

The SAC 110 lab is the main general use Macintosh lab at Alma College. It is located on the first floor of Swanson Academic Center which makes it a convenient location to stop to check email or to work on a paper.

At Alma College, we have a number of labs available for general use such as checking email, navigating the internet, working on a paper, and building a PowerPoint presentation.  While we have more advanced 'specialty' labs on campus, the general labs are usually have the most availability for those who aren't working on advanced digital media projects.  Alma College supports both Windows and Macintosh systems and offers labs both in the academic buildings as well as in the dorms. The links to the left will allow you to explore more  information on all of the general campus labs including SAC 110 (the main general use Macintosh lab), The Olafsson Room (the main general use PC lab), and the Dorm labs.

Alma College alumnus Josh Brehm was the 2006 recipient of the Gagliardi Trophy, given annually to the best NCAA football player in Division III. The Gagliardi Trophy recognizes excellence in academics, athletics and community service.

Spring Term courses offer students opportunities to break out of the “Alma Bubble.” Off-campus study, especially in a foreign country, shows you how you relate to the rest of the world and how the rest of the world views American people, politics and policies. You can then integrate your real world experiences into your academic programs and your future career.
