Configurable Display Order

What to Look For

As you can see below, there is a new "Move" part to the pages in the CMS.  When you move a page up it will trade places with the one above it.  When you move a page down it will trade places with the one below it.

Display Order Example

Newer Pages at Top

By default when you create a new page it will appear at the top of the list. Of course you can change it.  However, when the display order feature was first added, all pages were put in alphabetical order so that there would be no immediate change.

Pages No Longer Jump to the Top

As it was somewhat confusing to the users, we have changed the CMS so that the navigation for the current page no longer jumps to the top of the side bar navigation.  Instead, it stays in the same place it was as determined by the order you set up in the CMS.

Alma students can explore the environmental wonders of the Galapagos Islands, practice Spanish language skills, study Ecuadorian culture, complete coursework in business finance, and fulfill a South American internship in entrepreneurship through Alma College’s one-of-a-kind partnership with Equatorialis University in Quito, Ecuador.

Alma’s off-campus study programs do more than place students in exciting locales to meet interesting people; they also create new opportunities for personal growth and skill development. One of the best ways to learn about other societies and cultures is to study and travel in international settings. You do not always have to know a foreign language.
