We have extended the CMS to add a quick polling feature to create a easy way to develop your own polls.

Tutorial Steps-

  1. First select a Poll from the drop-down list of subpages.
  2. Enter in the webpage details. Your intro paragraph will go in the content section.

FYI: If you wish to use restrain access to your poll to either certain groups or individuals then you must set the Page Type to Authenticated Page and Restricted Access. The polling application checks by the user's login username if they can access the page.

  3. Click Save Webpage button to continue.
  4. Enter in the details for each Question. You may restrict on-going/final results to certain users or groups of users.

Before you type in or copy & paste your questions and answers please be sure to select the correct amount of answers you will need or your information in the textboxes will be erased. You may add more answers by clicking on the Blanks For 3 More Answers at the bottom of the page.

  5. Click on the Save Question button to save the current question details, and load a new question.
  6. When you finished with the poll, you may click on the Save Poll button to complete the process and exit back out to the subpage listings.

Spring Term at Alma is a one-month immersion on a single academic topic that offers learning experiences not typically available during the more traditional 15-week fall and winter terms. For example, during Spring Term ‘07 students explored important cultural sites in China, worked to restore a Jewish Holocaust cemetery in Poland, analyzed ethic politics in Scotland, and studied medieval literature in London.
