Our department supports computing operations for Alma College students, faculty, and staff. These functions include:

Our office is located in lower level of the Kehrl Building (Library) and is open Monday through Friday from 8AM – noon and 1PM – 5PM.

Computing resources at Alma College are of a diverse nature. General labs, residence halls, and departmental labs make use of PC systems running mainly Windows XP and Macintosh systems running Mac OS X. UNIX and Linux systems are also in use on campus, mainly as servers and in Computer Science labs.

Please feel free to use this section as a resource for information on using the campus network, computing labs, and the various media services that are offered to the campus community.

 

Since 2003, twenty-seven Alma College students have won prestigious national fellowships, scholarships and awards, including 15 Fulbright fellowships and multiple Truman, Udall, and Gates-Cambridge scholarships.

Interests: Health Professions, Community Service

A Truman Scholarship finalist and Center for Responsible Leadership Fellow, Drew has traveled to South Africa and China studying the HIV/AIDS crisis. The Bay City native intends to use his French minor and POE in International Health to improve AIDS care in Africa, hopefully as a physician with a global public health organization.
