Alma College’s location, beautiful campus, and service-oriented staff make it an attractive site for a variety of conference activities, as well as weddings in the Dunning Memorial Chapel. Groups may reserve housing and meeting facilities, subject to availability, by calling the Auxilliary Services/Conferences Office at (989) 463-7066 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Thirty-four percent of Alma students participate in intercollegiate athletics. Alma College competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the oldest existing athletic conference in the nation. Alma offers 22 varsity sports—11 for the women and 11 for the men—including four sports that debuted in 2011–12: women’s lacrosse and bowling and men’s lacrosse and wrestling.

As a nursing assistant, Saginaw senior Taylor Boehler is finding ways every day to make a difference in people’s lives. Little did she realize that it also would change her own.
“I needed patient contact hours in order to get accepted to physician assistant school, so I started working at Masonic Pathways,” she says. “I ended up falling in love with working with geriatric populations. Honestly, if you would’ve told me in high school that I would end up in geriatrics, I would have thought you were nuts, but Masonic helped me find my niche.”
