Campus Life

From your first day on campus you'll find Alma is a friendly, welcoming place. You'll quickly make friends through your classes and your extracurricular activities, but your closest friends may very well become the people you live with in Alma's residence halls or other housing options.

Ways to be involved at Alma: If there was one word to describe Alma students, it might be involved. Alma students take their studies seriously, but they also put a great deal of energy into life outside the classroom.

Distinguishing landmarks on Alma’s campus include the Posey Bench near the Hood Building, the Bishop Makarios Memorial Sculpture, the “Momentum” sculpture near the entrance to the Hogan Center, the Spirit Rock behind the Library, the Bahlke Field Gate, the Peace Poles in McIntyre Mall, and the Redman Gate along Superior Street that welcomes campus visitors.
